about

You Are Chosen

Do you know how amazingly special you are?  You are special because God chose you before the world began. His word says, “He actually picked you out for Himself as His own!” (Ephesians 1:4). This is such exciting news, we had to share it. That’s why the annual Chosen event was created.

Since 2005, Chosen has helped transform lives as women receive God’s word in an atmosphere of encouragement, power, inspiration and fun!

Even though Chosen only takes place once a year, the fruit continues to grow long after the event. Women receive the message, share it with others, and become living examples of each year’s teachings.

Over the years, we have learned that we are a fragrance for Him, we are instruments of His righteousness, and that we are His treasure. We also learned that He has created us to love, build, fly free, bring good news and to grow in every aspect.

Join us this year and find out the magnitude of our strength, which comes from God – a strength that can help us live the abundant life God has called us to live.

Cindy Godwin is the hostess of Chosen. She is a teacher, encourager and true inspirer who passionately cares about everyone. Her heart’s desire is that all people discover who they are in Christ and to know that they are Chosen to be part of God’s awesome plan.

Cindy is married to Rick, and together they have pastored Summit Christian Center in San Antonio for 30 years. They have two wonderful adult daughters, one of whom is married with two amazing children. The youngest grandchild was born two days before the 2012 Chosen Treasure event – what a wonderful reminder of God’s precious treasure!
