The Chosen Foundation

Chosen 2011 marked a significant milestone in Chosen history--the introduction of the Chosen Foundation! The Chosen Foundation is a practical way to make a difference in the lives of widows and single moms. Each year at Chosen, one widow or single mom will be selected to be the recipient of an amazing shower of blessing to include money, services, clothing, and gift cards that meet specific needs.

2011 Honoree Jenny Nelson

Jenny has two grown biological children who are now out of the home, but an empty nest is not for her! As a single mom she has opened her home by adopting,
Gracin (3), Avery (4), Amy (5), Abigail (7), Damianna (7), Alison (8), Addison (8), Micah (10),
Aden (11), Gavin (12), and Tristan (14). 11 CHILDREN! Jenny has been a member of Summit Christian Center since 2009. She is an active volunteer in the children's ministry through Elevate and VBS plus she has served for the past two years in the Chosen Marketplace.
